mvrdrk's Christmas present. But I saved it for today to open (Friday, birthday, end of looong week.)
It's a modern Chinese landscape-- painting? print? 'After Overnight Rain'--
In the mountains after a night of rain, the trees turn out hundreds of waterfalls
as the translation on the back says. (And I was able to read almost all of that in the Chinese except for the 'turn out' hanzi.)
Because google is everyone's friend, I found it online, and you may get an idea what it looks like here. Which does no justice to the detailing and the green of the trees and hills and the brightness of their trunks and the faint blush of dawn on the highest mountain at the top rising above a valley of mist, but should give you an inkling of its beauty.

I had a long talk with the artist and I forget who the poet was, but it's a classical poem and not one of the artists. It reminded me of Pipang ... I'll have to go find the poem.

I meant to make huge Squeeful Christmas post ... which didn;t happen
I meant to make a New Year one, which also didn;t happen
I meant to and have to set aside time for big 'boy grows up and goes to big school' post because it's huge for me ... which I hope to make sure happen at some point!
I think I will since it was a very kind of insane week for me which the boy sailed through with no problems of course. Only Mama now has more white hairs on her head. Which could have been a build up from last years hospital visits ... who knows.
But but re: your earlier post ohhh Pinot Noir. I don't indulge in wine too much but when I do ... that would have been the choice for me. It's lovely and eminently quaffable. ^__^
