Argh

Why is flipping lj logging me out every time I exit firefox, even though I tick their stupid 'remember me' box every time I log in? IE remembers who I am. What's firefox's problem? Was it a mistake to tick 'remember this password' when firefox prompted me?

Do you have Firefox set to clear all personal information when you close it?

Oh joy.

No. I've got 'ask me before clearing private data' ticked, but not clear private data. This is something that's just started, either yesterday or today, and I haven't changed anything in my preferences.

This went a few years back:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=271494

It happened intermittently with ol' Mozilla too.

Took me a while to find that 'show passwords' button cause for sure Firefox Help-less won't tell me what menu it's on. When I did find it, in fact the password manager shows my lj password to be there. But when I log out, poof, gone. Firefox, you disappoint. I wish I could find out what it is makes IE freeze at a thread with more than 30 comments, cause otherwise I'd go back to my pretty first love.
