(And if I still can't quite register the fact, the reason possibly is that my spam filter grabbed lj's email so I didn't see it until this evening. And still didn't believe it entirely until I went and looked at my user profile where, yes, it says I have a permanent account. I should probably use my OMG! Goujun icon, but calendar!Keiki actually looks more how I feel: which was probably not the artist's intention.)

And that sparkly font... is very cool! Is there a tutorial somewhere on LJ to tell me how to make the sparkly letters?

It's actually someone's help-for-ebaying thingy (http://www.ukauctionhelp.co.uk/sparkle.php), so the sparkles will vanish if the site does. I bookmarked it many ages ago because, to quote my mother, you never know when it will come in handy. Would that I had bookmarked the one for scrolling text as well.

you can save the sparkly gif on photobucket/your shiny permanent lj scrapbook, and replace the link so it won't disappear when the site goes down or too many people are using it.

Scrolling text on lj should be marguee in carets, like blockquote/italics/bold/small etc. Er. I haven't used it in a while, so let's see if this works.
