There was slim parcel between the doors when I got home. Had it contained something in colourful wrapping paper I'd have waited till Monday to open it but it didn't and I did and---

I never thought to be saying this in all sincerity but now I am. (clears throat) incandescens, it's lovely. I shall treasure it always. What is it?

That's a general what, of course, meaning who and what's his background if any and etc etc. But I love it to pieces. What is it? (And do you think it's safe to scan it?)

I'm so glad it got there safely, and that you like it! ;)

I'm not sure what it is in particular, and the lady on the stall at Yaiocon couldn't tell me either. And now I'm forgetting the group's name. Shame on me. They're the ones who have been doing the covers of the fiction anthology for the last few years. I got several other prints for myself, but when I saw that one and the dragon, I knew it had to be for you.

I'm fairly sure it's safe to scan. You can remove it from the cardboard frame, too, if you want to mount it more nicely.

Is that the Chinese group? or possibly Chinese-American? I'm vague about them myself. I wondered if this was someone from some RPG or other, I being woefully ignorant about such things. But no matter. I have a hawt red dragon person and much may be made of that. (I like the shadings of his cloak/ coat in particular. A well-dressed hawt red dragon person.) Thank you again.

I think it is that group. I have their artbook (which they were selling there), and would gladly give you more details if I could actually read it rather than just admiring the pretty pictures. If I get a new scanner at some point, I will scan some bits in. Though that particular picture was in a rather different style to most of their other stuff.

Congratulations on your hawt red dragon person, good dress sense and all. I did think he looked a little disreputable, but that does not prevent him being hawt or having good dress sense.

I'm blanking on her name myself, but she's either Chinese or Taiwanese and does such lovely work.... I bet if incandescens looks inside one of the Y-Con anthologies, she's given credit for the covers....

Alas, am at home with family at the moment and can't get at the anthologies, but will have a look when I'm back in my flat next week.
