They're riding home, and Hiromasa asks Seimei what kind of medicine he gave the victim. He explains that it was the female flower of the "flax" plant and that burning it gives one nice dreams. I believe the kanji in question is used for a number of different fiber producing plants. It was 'flax' in one of my dictionaries. Another was more informative, listing flax, ramie, hemp, and some other things.
