Am I feeling pleased with me? Yes, just a tad:
In the mirror was a youkai. Dark shaggy hair above sad green eyes, split vertically like a cat's. Skin markings, a short line of little leaves, across the bridge of the nose.
So it's a long line of leaves. Sue me. October 2001, ladies and gentlemen. I rule.

Person A could not, however, recall who'd written it (because it had been smut-free -- don't ask), so she described it. Person B, who has a frightening memory, said, "That one? It was called 'Youkai'" -- but she couldn't recall who'd written it either. After mutual agreement that it was an Old Skool fanfic, the Search for the fushigi fanfic wandered over several sites before Person A finally located the [expletive deleted] link to the newest location of Person C's fanfic and tossed all the [confusing] directories therein.
And thus the slackers got there first, y'know? Through hard
nonwork! Go us!(This reminds me. Persons A and B need to know Person C's sign and element (http://www.doublesign.com/astro/chinese/index.php) so that they can continue their
completely nutsinsightful analysis of her fannish oeuvre.)no subject

Not 'chin of death'? That's what *I* was thinking.
(The expletive deleted link is over in the links section of my lj, BTW, under the usual user info-friends-calendar bumpf.)
I'm an ox but I don't know what element (you mean like fire ox, earth ox, etc etc?) Birth year's 1950 FFIW.

(The link was supposed to be my memories section. So I've discovered that sometimes you go through the motions, but LJ doesn't save anything. Grr.)
You and my sister? Aaaa, I'm afeared. T_T (You get earth, according to their chart.) Thanks -- we'll plug it into the dataset . . .
