The latest Saiyuuki chapter arrived finally. Question to the usual recipients:

I see there are now both episode scans and translations on the net. That being so do you still want photocopies? I've been assuming so because I can't get my head around preferring an onscreen version to a paper version. OTOH I just realized that my prejudices mostly derive from the pain of reading Japanese onscreen, and that people not faced with that little problem (as with scanlations) seem quite happy to get their manga digitally. Still can't get my head around it, she says dubiously, but please advise me if indeed the photocopies are now redundant.

I didn't know there were scans online, outside of a couple shots of Nii or whatnot. I'd still be up for photocopies if you're heading down to make them. :)

The scans don't come from our end of the world. I ran across them in some out of the way spot somewhere and noted their existence in the 'I suppose everyone knows about this but me' fashion. Maybe everyone doesn't.

(politely) No thank you. I'd have traded our ice snow and thunder of the weekend but I *think* it's gone by now.

Though from *France*, land of the translated manga, I wouldn't say no to a FB 10 if you haven't put in your order yet? (Must check- FB 12 is what just came out, yes?)
