Was oddly limber yesterday in spite of booster ie back did not hurt. Today it hurts and I feel wanhope-ish. Gas bill came, no lower than usual at this time of year. Energy saving furnace has not saved me much energy. Though this year is colder than last year, and they've probably raised their rates as well. Also my insurance premiums came, which have doubled in the last eight years as well, in spite of expensive upgrades. I could bring them down to a bearable sum if I cut out the sewer backup coverage but that, with our ancient sewer system, is simply courting disaster.
I thought alcohol couldn't freeze but my freebie bottle of vodka (18.8 proof) did. Mr. Google says 18.8 will freeze at -9 C, which I sincerely trust is not the temp in my freezer. Mr. Google also says that it's hard to get tiddly on the stuff, which I guess is why the liquor delivery people were giving it away. Shall stick with my sweet sherry, I guess.
