Well, on the day I was slated to have surgery, I hit the weight I was aiming for at last, and the city gets scheduled to go into lockdown Monday morning. And wasn't I clever to have cancelled the surgery two weeks ago and scheduled two grocery orders last week? But this probably means no acupuncture for a month unless I can convince her that, as I live alone and am allowed to have close contact with one other household, she can be it. And since my elbows just did their 'once a year ballistic' routine, where they freeze and do lightning jolts of pain, I hope she'll agree.

Best of luck with lockdown and with the acupuncture.

Congratulations on hitting your target! Yesterday my scale told me that I have lost another 500g, so I am just 1.8kg from mine!

Oh, I hear you! Now I am thinking fitness and body recomposition, as the work-out community calls it. I don't like the loose skin or additional bits of extra fat lurking about, I need to keep on keeping on with the triceps etc etc etc. So I still want a BMI of 20, but it's got to be based on lean muscle, and good cardio-vascular health, not just on being slim but flabby.

Good luck with your new goal!

Body recomp in the general sense - more muscle, less fat, better cardiovascular endurance - is possible at any age (even without being one of those Japanese grannies who trot up and down a mountain every morning before breakfast...), but yes, loose skin is one of those things that can only recover so far.
