My favourite cocktail is based on gin. The Pegu Club (ignore the Savoy recipe, which is an abomination involving syrup and eggwhite - this is the true Pegu Club cocktail, served at the actual, real Pegu Club, which has been restored and is back in operation in Yangon, or was, before COVID19) :
2 parts gin 0.75 part fresh lime juice 0.75 part Cointreau (or any orange-based liqueur) A dash of bitters A dash of orange bitters Shake with crushed ice, serve in cocktail glass with a twist of lime
