Alas, our local cherry trees have gone from the little white points to the heavy blossom stage and out the other side, and are now at the drooping brown-tinged limpness stage. Rather depressing.

(Though admittedly some of the depression may be due to getting the book 7 edits back. Editor is kind but stern. Much needs to be done. I'm trying to suppress my Inner Porcupine and do it.)
