Holidays

The dead days are earning their name, aided by rain and a return of the norovirus that required me to cancel two appointments today, both of which I must still pay for. In consequence, I have been semi-crippled most of this week and have finished a buncha books.

*HUGS* - and much sympathies - and having to pay for stuff which doesn't happen, always makes me cry a little inside, *more hugs for that too*

BUT you finished a bunch of books ... and I'm struggling to finish Mieville's 'The Last Days of New Paris' for no other reason than there being not enough time.

But I have to return it to the library soon so finish it I must. It isn't even a long book really. It's easy on the eyes print-wise and word-wise always good to read. But ahhh TIME! TIME!

HAPPY NEW YEAR YOU!

Much love, many hugs ... and even though unhappy things loom large in the future, wishing you a great year and may the woes just be over and done with and the healing and recovery come swiftly.

As always, much love. - Zan

Hey, happy new year to you too. Let's ganbaru together.

Mieville isn't my idea of light reading at the best of times, but to each her own form of relaxation. Hoping that the franticness will die down soon and leave you leisure, because right now it sounds like Mom's Life when the kids were little(r).

Oh, and when I biked round to the clinic in the rain yesterday, they assured me that they don't charge for actual illness or family emergencies, and that my masseuse had been able to fill the spot anyway. So that's the biggest of the chunks of change off my mind.
