Little autumn

I love you, cold air blowing in the window. I love you, October clouds. Fall weather in early summer is like bacon and eggs for dinner: they're so much better than when served at the usual time.

Yeah, we had a lovely evening yesterday, not too cold but with a fresh breeze. We had supper at the new Italian trattoria in our Old Town and then went more-or-less next door for gelato. We sat on a bench to eat it, so we could watch the passers-by, and I thought Yeah, this is about as good as it gets, isn't it?

It sounds blissful. It's not predicted to be below thirty Celsius here until Monday.

(shudders) We'll have that soon enough, I'm sure. And where is here?

*sighs jealously* - it's like 6:30 AM and I can't sleep because the humidity is killing me and I am bleary eyed because I want to sleep dammit!

(I had to wake up at roughly four because I had to cool myself down with a shower!) Ugh!

I'm going to try and catch some sleep now. Night night (thankfully it's Saturday and barring any emergencies I should be able to have a bit of a lie in)

AC is the only answer!

Sorry global warming is trashing you so badly at just the wrong time.

Vietnam. And right now, 40 Celsius. They promised the relief would be here by now, but it's not - tomorrow, they say now.

The ever-receding cold fronts of summer. We get them here too, but not as bad. My sympathies to all tropic-dwellers.

Glad you are enjoying your mini autumn! I love those weather shifts too!
