Fiesta had its jellied fruit candies in, which it does from time to time, this time presumably for Halloween though they're hardly the kind of candy one distributes to the tinies. In any case, they're much loved by J in Tokyo so I bought her a box, and today walked over to Shoppers on Bloor to get mailing envelopes from the PO there. We're having what in my youth was called Indian summer, which nowadays means the last time the Indians-from-India will be comfortable, though even so the delivery bike couriers were all wearing heavy jackets like Arizonians bundling up in mid-70sF. Dropped by my fave Japanese restaurant and Nadège for macarons, and will admit I do like it when people open doors for me even if I could manage myself in a pinch. Also the Nadège clerk complimented my outfit, which was summer trousers and short-sleeved shirt in shades of rose pink.

And  someone did indeed take both bags of records, and left the box they were sitting in, which I appreciate. I can't prop the bags against the corner of my front lawn where an ancient election sign frame is rooted into the ground, because that's where the dogs pee en passant-- and have succeeded in killing my peony bush-- so I need something to hold them upright closer to the hedge. Last time the someone took both the bags and the box, which was annoying.
