I had one in Japan but my quarrel with it, as with most Japanese clothes, is that they don't cover the head and neck and that's where I lose heat. Thus my winter sleepwear includes a hooded sweatshirt and a loose-knit wool balaclava. Have occasionally been tempted to add gloves but that's a bit of overkill.
