Yesterday I trimmed more of the hedge and a lot of ground ivy from the front path. This may be why I hurt so much today, or maybe this is just an owie day. Tomorrow must get at the backyard jungle because Thursday is garden waste pickup day.

Sadie the dog is indeed no more. Her cancer recurred and she died three weeks ago. The puppy I saw was a dogsit. Sadie's mom says she'll get another dog but probably not till the fall. I'm sad for her and for Sadie, who was a good dog even if she never warmed to me.

Today's accomplishment was not ordering in Vietnamese and not going out for poutine and buying lettuce instead. Also ordered new masks, and because I didn't want to get up off the couch to see where I got the last box, ended up buying from an Indigenous owned business, so sloth has its uses.

Tried web searching with Duck duck go. I hope their popups cease popping up eventually because they're beyond annoying. Slightly fewer sponsored results but still there. I always ignore the first results in google anyway so that's not a problem.

Not to jinx anything but we've been relatively cool so far while the rest of the world burns. Humidexes get up to 30 and the air is indeed muggy and slightly unbreathable, but we're not hitting any 35/ 95 hideousness. Am grateful.

The UK is also being cool for the time of year while Europe’s being super hot. It’s a bit grey and depressing, but like you, I vastly prefer it to the alternative they’re suffering in Dpain, Italy, etc.

Yes, exactly.
