Ordinary day
Very much a 'sit on the sofa in front of the fan' day, or at least that's what it turned into. It was warm but breezy today and I washed my sleep hoodie which has the sweat of decades in it (dates to at least 1998) and smells of same unless washed every four days or so. Hung it on the line, went to the library and greengrocers, came back maybe 90 minutes later and it was dry.
Later went out to the super for milk and eggs because the next few days will be wet and muggy, and then sat in front of the fan to calm my poor glutes that took exception to me walking four blocks, coming and going, in un-broken-in berks. (People do not read the news about the new omicron variant. Half the store was unmasked. Am laying bets with myself if there'll be a new mask mandate come the fall. DoFo has a majority and can do what he wants but I bet he doesn't have the balls.)
Did not get out for wine. Irritated sinuses do not need wine. See: air quality, below.
Env.Can was calling for lows of 12 last night. But it was 20 when I went to bed and the air quality was atrocious: muggy pollution stink plus errant skunk. So I closed the windows and used the AC, set at 19. This usually results in me feeling chilly by dawn but didn't this time. Possibly because the temps didn't go below 19 until 5 a.m. so the leaky inside was the same temperature as out. Tonight of course will be lows of 20, so the window AC gets set at a blissful 17.
