I want to live in a big house with a lot of other people who cook and have hobbies and like to talk.

Ran across something on my phone that I thought of reposting except I couldn't figure out how to do it. 'When I'm on my computer'-- except I can't recall what it was. Maybe a vanishing Facebook entry. Have only a dreamlike recollection that it was either Ellen Kushner or Delia Sherman, and where would I access either of those on my phone? Oh, right- Sabina's tumblr. The hats of San Quentin. And it *was* so much better than it is today.

Yes. A nice big house with plenty of space for everyone, but with some communal rooms for hanging out in, watching films, doing crafts, or just sitting and reading and chatting.

The only problem is when the people one would like to live with are situated in different countries and occasionally continents.
