Non-attachment training session in progress

Shall hope the sudden blackout that afflicted my neighbourhood at 2 pm is just one of the rolling blackouts the CBC mentions and not a blown transformer at our perennially useless transformer station.

But objective crises do deflect the attention from the subjective ones that would otherwise overwhelm one, in that 'I have survived terrible things, some of which actually happened' fashion known to all neurotics and/or people with an imagination.

True. But I still tend to be uncharitable towards such... vaccinations.

I could do without them, ordinarily; but the more pessimistic older I get the more I see the use in becoming accustomed to the idea that Things Work is a privileged state and Things Go Wrong to be expected.
